Kinship Adoption Festival a Success!

The 2003 Kinship Adoption Festival held on Saturday June 21st was a great success with more than 700 people attending. Held once again under a bright and sunny sky at Brace-Lederle Elementary School in Southfield, MI, more than 700 persons turned out to learn more about adopting waiting children from foster care. Area adoption agencies brought more than 100 children to the event to enjoy games, activities, and food

The Kinship Adoption Festival is in its 14th year and continues to be an effective way to recruit and educate potential adoptive families. Thanks to the Family Independence Agency of Michigan and the many private contributors and adoption agencies who help to make this annual event possible. Your support is truly appreciated!
