Wayne FIA Calling Out Ceremony

The Adoption and Recruitment staff of Wayne County F.I.A., under the supervision of SuA’Lynn Holbrook, hosted a Calling Out ceremony to celebrate National Adoption Awareness Month on November 19th at the Charles A. Wright Museum of African American History. This special event was intended to honor adoptive families, encourage adoption professionals, and most importantly, to remember the hundreds of Michigan children still waiting for adoption. The Wayne County Adoption staff, together with MARE, had been working since August to update photos and create video clips of Wayne County’s waiting children. As a result, over 30 children were featured in a video presentation at the Calling Out ceremony. Congratulations to Wayne F.I.A. for such a fine event. Keep up your great work!
