Nicholas beams when he receives affection and attention. “Nicholas is a loving child,” says one of the people who knows him best. “He is easygoing and fun to be around.” One of his favorite activities is going on walks with others. Nicholas enjoys playing with a basketball, riding bikes and going to the playground. On the weekends, Nicholas likes shopping, listening to music and going on van rides to get a slushy drink. He loves playing with Play-Doh and building things with Legos. He loves doors and likes visiting Home Depot so he can see its collection of them. In fact, his two dream destinations would be LEGOLAND and Home Depot. One day, Nicholas could be opening doors because he hopes to become a maintenance man. Among his favorite things, Nicholas lists anything chocolate for food, blue, green and pink for color and dogs for animals. Once he finds a forever family, Nicholas hopes they’ll enjoy the same activities as he does.

“Nicholas is energetic, silly and fun,” one of his close acquaintances says. He’s also described as super loving and goofy around other people. Nicholas does best with structure and close supervision.

Nicholas would do best with two patient parents who can provide the attention he requires. His family must be open to meeting Nicholas’ needs now and into adulthood. His new parents must be fierce advocates for the services that will help Nicholas thrive. In addition, Nicholas would do best as the only child in his new forever family. Nicholas also would do well in a home with small pets.
