MARE Meet & Greets (formerly called MARE Match Parties) are unique events that provide prospective adoptive families the chance to interact face-to-face with many of Michigan’s waiting youth. It allows them to see past the labels, diagnoses and case histories that mask the personalities of each child. They also provide the children a chance to enjoy a fun day filled with various games and activities. These events are held throughout the state at various churches and community centers. They are typically held on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and lunch will be provided. It is our hope that many matches will be made in an effort to find our waiting youth their forever families.
